Kristina Kropp

Ms. Kropp has extensive experience representing property owners, neighbors, community groups and applicants with regard to a wide range of government and regulatory law matters. Her practice focuses on land use, discretionary entitlement, building permit and environmental issues, including project management, obtaining and opposing development entitlements, compliance with local and state planning and zoning laws, local municipal codes, general and specific plans, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and Subdivision Map Act, land use due diligence, administrative proceedings, and litigation.

Experience

Ms. Kropp has substantial experience in complex land use and CEQA litigation and recently represented the prevailing property owner in a lawsuit against the City of West Hollywood.

Her previous experience includes a judicial externship in the United States District Court and a clerkship with the State Attorney General’s Office, in the Natural Resources Section. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kropp worked for the Federal Forest Service.

Education

Ms. Kropp obtained her law degree in 2011 from Pepperdine University School of Law. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Law, Letter and Society, with a minor in Environmental Public Policy from the University of Chicago.

Kristina is an active member of the State Bar of California’s Real Estate and Environmental Law Sections, and is a Board Member of the Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), the Los Angeles Chapter.
